Bathhouse Glasgow, Glasgow 2019

The design is located on a prominent plot, a tributary of the city's former harbor. Despite its exposed location, the building does not stand as a monument on the river promenade like the gleaming bank or broadcasting buildings upstream, but rather blends into its surroundings. The impression is created that the bathhouse emerges from the harbor arm and is connected to it.

The uniqueness of the bathhouse lies in the relationship of the pools to the river. By positioning the building arms parallel to the river and establishing a strong visual connection, the feeling is created that one is swimming on, alongside, or even in the river.
