But why does humanity linger in certain places and thus attract others of its kind? The design of Refugio Bernhardusplatz seeks to answer this question by drawing on evolutionary biological characteristics of humans. These cognitive traits are anchored in every individual, regardless of age, origin, or subjective perception, and form the basis of the design.
